A promotional fundraising campaign has been developed, pursued and maintained in the United States. The campaign materials include announcements, letters and brochures. The funds are received and held by the Free Methodist Foundation in Spring Arbor, Michigan. Donations from the United States are sent to the Free Methodist Foundation. On an annual or semi-annual basis, the United States Advisory Committee distributes funds to Hope Africa University that, through a “flow through” agreement, provides grant funds to the development projects selected and recommended by the Burundi Advisory Committee.
Any and all donations from individuals are used directly and exclusively to support outreach and development in Burundi. For communication and accountability purposes, contributors and others are kept informed through this website on the United States Program (fundraising and distributions) and the Burundi Program (projects, reports and results).
